Dance Connexions 2024 Terms and Conditions

 

PAYMENTS

a) All fees must be paid in full on or before your invoice due date. 

b) Fee payments can be made by paypal, cheque or instant bank transfer. 

c) Cash payments must be in a sealed enverlope.

d) Once fee payment has been received it is non refundable.

e) Once enrolled for the half term you are eligible to pay the fees for the whole half term.

 

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES TO CLASSES 

a) Occasionally if is necessary to change a classes’ time or cancel class, Dance Connexions will ensure we give you as much warning as possible through email, phone or word of mouth. 

 

DANCE CONNEXIONS’ LIABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

a) Dance Connexions is only responsible for students while they are in their class. Children cannot be supervised after or before their class. 

b) In the unlikely event of an accident or extreme illness of the student during class time, if we are unable to contact parents/guardians, we will act in loco parentis and take the appropriate action. 

c) Due to the nature of the performing arts sometimes physical corrections are necessary. This is always done with the utmost care and professionalism.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARENT/GUARDIAN ​

a) These terms and conditions, and any enrolment forms you have signed, constitute an agreement between you and us in connection to classes or any services superseding any prior agreement. 

b) Attendance at class is deemed to be acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions.

 c) It is the parent/guardians responsibility to notify Dance Connexions of any injury or illness that will affect your child’s participation in class. 

d) In the event we feel you breech these Terms and Conditions or that your child is either disruptive to either Dance Connexions staff or another pupil, we reserve the right to exclude them from their class/classes. 

e) Photographs or video footage of pupils may be used for the school website or any other advertising connected with Dance Connexions. If you do NOT wish for your childs image to be used in these purposes, you must inform Dance Connexions in writing. 

 

SHOW AND EXAM REQUIREMENTS

a)Show participation will be agreed between Dance Connexions and parents/guardians via a show participation form.

b)By signing the show participation form, you are agreeing to attend all show rehearsals and any show fees are non refundable.

c)Exam participation will be agreed between Dance Connexions and parents/guardians via an exam participation form.

d)By signing the exam participation form, you are agreeing to attend all exam rehearsals and any exam fees are non refundable. Students missing two or more classes prior to the exam will lead to removal from exam entry.

UNIFORM RULES 

a) The correct uniform must be worn to all classes, events, exam, rehearsals and shows. 

b) Hair must be tied back neatly for class, or in a bun for ballet classes. 

c) Suitable foot wear must be worn for classes. Ballet shoes for Ballet & Trainers/ Plimsolls for Street Dance.

 

DATA PROTECTION INFOMATION

a) We now work in accordance with the new EU General Date Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into effect on 25th May 2018. Please email us at info@danceconnexions.co.uk to receieve a copy of our policy document which states what personal information we collect and why, who we share our infomation with, how it is stored and how it is destoryed should you leave Dance Connexions.

 

COVID-19 

a) Govenment rules for Covid-19 can change quickly and by law we must follow the requirements.

b) Dance Connexions Covid-19 risk assesment is available to view as requested.
