DANCE CONNEXIONS FAQS

How does payment for classes work?

Term dates at Dance Connexions run in sync with the Central Bedfordshire school dates, so the number of weeks per half term may vary between 5 - 7 weeks. There are no weekly classes run during half terms and holidays.

Discounts are offered if students attend more than one class per week.

We also offer an unlimited class passwhich means students can attend as many classes as they like per week for a set price per half term.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal or card payment. Cash can only be accepted in a named sealed envelope and no refunds will be given for days when students are not in attendance unless they hold a medical note.

Workshop payments must be made in full to secure a place. Summer school places require a 20% deposit.

Refunds only applies if Dance Connexions cancels classes or workshops.

What does my student need to wear to class?

All students are required to wear uniform to class, click below for more information.

Do classes run during school holidays?

Dance Connexions run in sync with the Central Bedfordshire term dates. However we do run half term workshops and summer schools thought out school holidays.

Do students take dance exams?

We offer examinations with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap. We also offer Acrobatic examinations with Acrotrix.

Examinations are optional and students are not required to take them to progress to the next class, however it is great for students to push themselves towards a goal and be recognised for that.

Students are selected for examinations with the teachers judgement.

Do you offer a free trial for new students?

Yes we offer a free one week trial on all our classes, so students can try the class before signing up for the term.

Can parents stay during class?

Parents and guardians are asked to wait outside during class times unless its their trial week. This is because often children are distracted by having other adults and children in the class.
